Helping Homeless Individuals with Minor Offenses Reach Housing and Sustainability
Hospitality House’s Adult Reentry Grant Program (ARGP) supports individuals who have been incarcerated in a California State Prison and are experiencing homelessness as they reenter the community. Since receiving ARGP funding in 2019, Hospitality House has been able to provide targeted services to individuals transitioning from incarceration to community living. The program focuses on promoting stability, reducing recidivism, and supporting successful returns to housing and self‑sufficiency.
This program is designed to address both the immediate and long-term challenges faced during reentry, helping participants build a foundation for a stable future. The ARGP program partners with landlords to provide stable housing for individuals recently released from state prison. The program is funded by the State of California and implemented through a partnership with community-based organizations such as Hospitality House.
